We are looking for someone with experience working as a riding instructor/teacher; it is a plus if you are trained in the profession, but the most important thing is that you are an engaged instructor. We place great importance on personal qualities such as relationship-building, responsibility, ease of collaboration, and being committed to educating both inexperienced and experienced riders.

Practical knowledge of facility maintenance is also an advantage. You want to work together with your team and the board for the continued development of Vännäs Riding Association. You will be part of a small, wonderful team that always puts horses and students first. Since we believe it is important for our riding instructors to maintain high quality and show great commitment, there is an opportunity for instructor riding and further education.

Your tasks will include planning and conducting riding lessons at various levels, from beginners to different competitive groups in dressage and jumping. The riding school also organizes riding school competitions and camp activities, where you will be involved in various ways. The position also includes stable, facility, and horse care.

The position is part-time, approximately 80%, as a temporary replacement during the parental leave of the regular employee until June 30, 2027.

Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Salary according to agreement.

Varied working hours, day, evening, and weekend. A driving license with at least B category is required.

Vännäs Riding Association is a non-profit organization that has been run by its members for 45 years. The association is affiliated with the Swedish Equestrian Federation, has about 260 members, and owns its 12 riding school horses – both ponies and riding horses. The facility, located about 4 kilometers outside the town of Vännäs, consists of two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, an office, a riding school stable, a private stable, pastures, and a clubhouse. The association has active sections in Jumping, Dressage, WE, and Western. We conduct riding school, competitions up to 3* level, training, courses, and riding camps. The riding school currently operates six days a week.
